Eleanor is an artist, wife, mama, wanderer, and counselor, with a warm inviting spirit. She has always loved textures, patterns, and designs, and her favorite hobby is thrifting. Eleanor loves a good outfit, and if you know her you know she dresses to fit her mood, which means that she changes her clothes about 3 times per day, give or take. She loves making and creating, and a few years ago her passions collided and she realized she was deeply in love with the slow process of hand stitching scraps onto found pieces that were already beautiful, and then creating community events to gather people and showcase her work, combining the old and the new, and pouring intention and magic into practicality, while collaborating with other artists and mamas, and building friendships along the way.

 

Alfredo is a climber, gardener, tattoo artist, carpenter, and a unique and beautiful soul who adds life to every room he enters, and is the behind the scene support for DESSA TERRA. He helps Eleanor pursue all her dreams, namely this clothing company, and is a great model when caught candid.

We live in Durango CO. We have a teenager, toddler, and a newborn, who we can't wait to explore the world with.
